Working a little more with 'Mediafire'. This is the latest host I'm trying in my attempt to get away from Photobucket. These photos were taken with my used $26.00 ebay Fuji point and shoot. The photos have been cropped and resized using Irfanview, a free editor that I use for most all my photo editing. This first photo is Beech nuts. A tiny kernel is inside another shell inside the spiky outer burr. You can see an actual beech nut in the lower right. They are three cornered and good to eat. Every bird and animal in the woods likes them. Blue Jays will fight just to keep other birds out of the Beech Tree. The second photo (below) is from the local 'Cucumber Tree'. I believe it is a genus of Magnolia. Third in this set is the seed 'berries' of the Multi-floral rose. A nasty hedge imported to 'grow' fences. It is an abomination! Lastly (# 4) is blossom on some Kudzu vine, another invasive species that has gotten out of hand since it's introduction here.

Media Fire looks like they kept the quality of your photos in tact without pixelizing and/or distorting them. Good quality I like very much, how does it work for you Sam?

It was a little grumpy as far as stability. One day it was fine, the next slow, the next offline. I prefer flickr.

They do change and upgrade. I go through a list of them now and then and see if they have anything new to offer.

I'm very satisfied with flickr. When I near my terabyte quota I may even upgrade to a paid account.

I've been using flickr for a year or more. So far it's been trouble free. I'm glad you like it too.

Sam, @linette, do you have to be a photographer to use Flickr? I have been having such a nightmare with my photobucket; took me almost three hours to upload over 100 photo's. I am also assuming Flickr is free?

Seems a little rude for Photobucket to block your account and ask for more money!
