Nice shot Mic. The do the 'round' bales here too. Your blue sky and clouds remind me of this scene overlooking the eagle's nest on Brooks Island last week.

That reminds me of ... my trip to the beach last summer. This photo reminds me of when I went out onto the peer at Mills Lake park and I thought the thing was going to collapse because it was on such a steep angle.

Great pano Linette. Looks like a great place to fish if it's permitted.

Nice shot of the park lake Linette - it reminds me of this one I did of a local park lake.

Beautiful park Mic. Very well kept. Your photo is remarkable. Not well kept now, but your photo reminds me of a small park locally where the old 'swimming pool' is now pretty good wildlife habitat.

Samantha your Sammy Seagull reminds me of these Kittiwakes on Bempton cliffs North Yorkshire - the way to recognise them is their black legs.

Love your bird bath seagull Samantha. That bird is strange!
Linette, it's always great to get closeups like that. That Canada Goose looks HUGE!
Les, my goodness what a beautiful photo. Those willows, the cat tails in the foreground and the water all are so nice. I would like Mote Park!
Mic those black legs are distinctive. I've not seen these birds. Of course living inland as far as I do, I don't see many of the sea birds. A few migrate through each year.

CARP, there we go thank you so much les you nailed it. Sam, would you believe it that's actually a Cackling Goose, when I saw them for the first time at Civic Park I noticed something different about them but, couldn't quite put my finder on it so I googled it and they're called Cackling Geese. If you look, their necks are shorter and some of their features are actually slightly different from the Canadian Geese you just have to know what to look for, me I just see the difference in the length of the neck. Those Canadian Geese remind me of the Cackling Geese I saw at Civic Park last year.

Amazing photo les. The "ducks" at Bluestone Lake remind me of the Blue Heron I painted.
