I've been there lots of times but never seen it in operation. My grandfather ran a grist mill for many years at Sandstone. I used to work there every Saturday as a child. I have a humorous short story about it named 'Saturday Was Millday'.

Sounds like a good story. He was standing there and i just asked him if i could get his picture he said sure no problem. he seemed used to it

Guess he's part of the furniture. That mill is one of the most photographed landmarks in the state. Most folks think it is original. I was bought piecemeal all over the area and put together there. I have photos of me fishing on glade ck. when it wasn't there.
