Golden Crowned Kinglet Oh, now you're just teasing me! I try so hard to get good photos like this of the Kinglets. The seldom display, Golden or Ruby. I did find one yesterday up in my BEE HAPPY garden but it was in a thick Cedar and I never did get a shot.

Now I am teasing, lol. I was trying to see if there were any Screech Owls in the area and played a call. Apparently, Kinglets do not like Screech Owls. He came to my speaker and posed nicely for quite a while.

robin7, I have a few shots of a Ruby Crowned Kinglet showing a little, nothing nearly as dramatic as yours. Enjoy these so much!

robin7 , I have a few shots of a Ruby Crowned Kinglet showing a little, nothing nearly as dramatic as yours. Enjoy these so much! I have never been able to get the Ruby Crowned Kinglet. He's on my bucket list. Both hang out in a high canopy stand of trees above my flower garden. It's just very hard to get a shot. They are very active.
