Goodness ... that much flat ground is unnerving. Interesting to see the angles of the shadows change with the movement of the sun. Clouds are great to. Can't express enough gratitude to the dedication of service animals. I know that most are trained well, but they have to have the attitude, loyalty and patience to tend their respective humans. I'm a dog person anyway, but a service dog is way beyond special!

Odd thing is, the foothills are very close to that "flat ground", lol.
Lily is a very cool dog. Everyone loves to be around her. She "works" on the opposite shift from me, so I only see her when I work overtime.

Lily and I would get along really well. I'm hoping to retire in a few months. When I do ... first priority is to take in a shelter dog. I like schnauzers ... they have a personality. Grumpy, moody, sometimes downright hateful, but enough soul in those eyes to melt an iceberg.
