The Old Brooks Post Office

Hard to believe that this was once the hub of activity in the small community of Brooks WV. Only one side was taken up by the Post Office, the other had a scant few food items and a candy counter. In the center was a huge pot bellied stove and a couple of chairs where one could wait and visit until the mail was 'put up'.
