This little Asian Beetle lit on my arm. I cranked the 18-300mm Nikkor lens down to around 70mm and was able to get auto focus at a distance of less than 18 inches holding the camera in my right hand. Not a great macro but for a spontaneous moment with no tripod it speaks well of lens.

So many don't make it when they come inside, not that anybody is spraying them not that I know of anyways but, it would be nice if they could just find somewhere to go where they'll be out of harms way.
