Here are a couple shots of the same group of trees.
This first one was taken around 4 pm on Jan 6. Very cold that day! I like the snow on the branches.
This next one was taken around 730 the next day. Chinook winds have warmed things up and blown all the snow off.

I really like that first shot. The blue tint adds to the feeling of cold. Brrrrrrr ........ I've always liked photos of trees with snow on the branches. Just something about it. I've been trying to get a photo of a male cardinal in the holly tree outside the kitchen window. The holly has pretty waxy green leaves and bright red berries ... so far ... no luck

Well, knowing you, you'll eventually get that shot of the cardinal. Both of these photos are untouched, other than I cropped some empty space off the right side. sent from my Galaxy S4

Our mobile phones really do have great cameras now. My son sent a pic of my grandson that he snapped with his and the quality is amazing. I use it as my desktop photo.

I'm going to try to use the add image button from my phone. It's been cold and snowy, but it looks beautiful so I snapped a couple of pics.

Worked great. I was able to click the thumbs and view them at a good size. That's a handy plug in. Nice photos, love those mountains in the background.
