I had a class at the Holiday Inn in So. Charleston yesterday. This is an annual event and I've photographed this parrot for many years now. Took a cell snap yesterday.

Yes Les it does. I've hear it say a few words like hello and 'pretty'. The staff says that it talks up a storm sometimes. It whistles a lot to, especially at pretty girls. It does a 'wolf whistle'. It does seem to know the difference in men and women.

There was a pub that had a Myner bird that was by the darts and when you pulled your dart back your dart to throw it.
It would say "Want a Guinness".

Many years ago an aunt had a mynah bird. It only said a few words. She got it from another coal miner family (my uncle worked the deep mines) ... so the words it said were usually pretty 'colorful'.
