Known by both names this is a large sample. It's well past it's prime for table fare, but still an interesting photo. Smaller ones are pretty good. I like to slice them thin, flour them then fry to almost crisp in butter with a little salt and black pepper. This one is perfect for eating. It's very fresh. I was having dinner in town so I didn't pick it. Spotted this one about 20 or 30 feet up in a huge Elm.
