Actually, whether you were a paying customer of PB that store photography there or even just smiley's they cut all those people off from their accounts as well, but I think and am only assuming this but, I think what happened when PB did that is someone lawyered up and made PB give all their paying customers their paid accounts back, unlocked them all. It doesn't matter what people stored there as long as it was under the TOU or whatever it's called, these people paid to store stuff there, even videos and PB just up and locked them out of their accounts demanding $400 if they ever wanna access to their stuff again even though they were paying customers. That's just utterly stupid! Thankfully, they now have access to their stuff but, I do not know if they are allowed to share their stuff, but I'm pretty damn sure they are loading up all their stored stuff there and moving somewhere else.

I love Flickr and I don't even pay them, although I do miss their editor since that's only available to paying customer but, that's fine I have Fotor.

I've used Irfanview as an editor for years. It's free and does a lot of functions.

Eventually I'm gonna have to close my Flickr account since they too do not allow third party posting either but, unlike photobucket they have not YET made a big issue out of it but, it wouldn't surprise me for when they do I just hope they give us peeps who use them for free a heads up ahead of time.
I'm back with G+ sharing my photos over there again.

For small sites like ours this could be disastrous. There's no way I could pay for enough bandwidth for a photography site. The attachment feature we have here would be out in no time if we all used it instead of hosts like flickr.

It's ridiculous I know Sam but, these sites are all getting money hungry only peeps with the big bucks are gonna pay these sites just to share their work.

Well, as I said, this trend may be the death knell for many small sites like ours.
