Gracie and I hit the hillside above the house to look for shrooms this past Saturday. We traversed many game trails and old log roads. We found a few. Here's just a couple of shots. Smooth Chanterelle. Very good edible. We also found lots of hickory nuts. I'm kinda worried though, no squirrels are cutting on them. The nuts may not be good. Boletus Ornatipes, a bright yellow bolete. Edible, good but can be bitter. Pilfering Runamuck. Non edible but always eating.

You are so clever with you descriptions. I especially love the pilfering runamuck.

Thanks all from me and the pilfering runamuck. She's napping on the sofa beside me right now. As soon as I get 'puter stuff done, I'll make her breakfast. She's a mess!
