You can't see it in the photo but a new bridge is being built here. The new bridge is beside the old one. The metal superstructure you see is the old bridge which will be dismantled when the new bridge is completed.

Looks like a good day to be out taking pictures. Beautiful! It didn't last. An hour later it was pouring rain and rained all the rest of the day. We were doing our March eagle survey. Fog rolled in with the rain and my group only saw one eagle all day (10:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M.)

Thank you Tiki. The sun popped out for just a few minutes. It lit up that fog and made it very bright white.

Good one Sam. When they built the M2 bridge I worked about 4 miles away and we could hear the power drivers pushing the support into the river(medway). one of my work mates came in and said that the power driver had pushed one of the supports so hard that had gone right into the ground and they lost it . I did not believe him. But when it came to the time it was 25 years old it came on the tv thatthey had lost one of the supports
