What temperature do you use to dehydrate chicken if ghr wiods mushrooms? How long do you leave in the dehydrator? Assume thinly sliced. Time and temp any different if marinated?

Hi Marilyn. Mushrooms, especially Chicken of the Woods, will have a widely varying moisture content due to freshness and weather conditions. I'm impatient, I always dehydrate on high if I use a dehydrator. Often, I'll air dry. For the same reasons, a set time is difficult. I try to check often. And you are correct, I do slice or cut the mushrooms into smaller pieces. Sorry if this is a little vague, just the best answers I have from personal experience.
