www.dover-kent.com/2014-project-a/Mitre-Maidstone.htmlI used it a few times but the first time with some mates. the bar maid 'Flos' said watch me. She went to a man in the corner at the end of the bar and asked him if he had any new purfumes. he went into his bad and got out a few bottles of purfume then showed spraying himself with each one. back in the ^0s there were no gay rights. //////////////////////////////////////////// Peter 'Cat'Stevens Nov 21, 2017 Maidstone I remember it well: This is a great site. Thanks. I lived in Grace Avenue, on the London Road from 1965-1976. Went to Westboro School 65-66 then Vinters Boys 66-70. My brother, Martin, followed me there in 1970. Howard de Walden youth club and the pub at the end of the road (the Rose and Crown?)were regular haunts. Canoed, fished and swam at Allington. Worked weekends at Tescos and the green grocers (?) in Week Street. My dad worked at Reeds in Aylesford and he and my mum were both in the Civil Defence club that gets a mention elsewhere on this site. I learned to sail on Mote Park and now teach sailing to local school kids here at the Puerto Galera Yacht Club in the Philippines. The Little Gem in Aylesford was a favourite too. I'd love to get in touch with friends from that time. I'm at divemonster25@yahoo.co.uk or facebook.
